Performance Spotlight
This weeks Performance Spotlight is Alaafia by Rosangela Silvestre; created with funding from the National Dance Project Production Grant.
Alaafia embraces the Yoruba concept of peace: the totality of well-being, the fullness of life here and hereafter, the sum total of all that humankind may desire -- harmony in life based upon the complex stories of Obatala, the Orixa of peace.
