On June 26th we will gather to honor the iyabas/queens of the Candomblé: Nanã, the primordial mother responsible for sculpting the human form, protector of secrets; Oxum, the owner of the arts, love and beauty, who protects the rivers and waterfalls, considered the lady of high society; Iemanja, the queen of the oceans, mother of all the orixá, nurturing and loving; and Oia Iansã, the warrior goddess of the winds and storms, symbolizing transformation, possessing a deep relationship with ancestors
