HELP US GROW THE ARTISTRY OF 44 AUDUBON STUDENTS!
Viver Brasil is excited to offer an amazing opportunity to LA middle school students but we need your help!
For the third year running, 44 students at Los Angeles’ Audubon Middle school are participating in our 10-week Samba in The Streets residency. They are learning about Afro-Brazilian dance and drum rhythms and the powerful social justice milieu in which these rhythms were born.
We want to bring what they've learned to life and let them to experience the culture first-hand by giving the gift of a trip to Disneyland to see us perform in the ¡Viva Navidad! Street Parade at Disney’s California Adventure!! This seasonal celebration of Latinx culture and holiday traditions includes 14 of our Viver Brasil performers along with 20 Mexican Folkloric dancers and 6 Mariachis!
We must raise $9000 by December 6th in order to get these students from #AudubonToDisney. Funds will support student and chaperone tickets, transportation, and food.
