For our last community class of the year, we're celebrating this crazy year with a Dance Party on Monday December 21st at 5:30 pm PT!  We are going to have the most fabulous MC Batatinha also known as Clarice Cast DJ-ing the event. It will be a time of gathering, reflecting on the year, and of course jamming out to the music that makes us happy. If you have any song requests email info@viverbrasil.com

Viver Brasil's phenomenal Music Director Clarice Cast is teaching a virtual pandeiro workshop this Sunday at 10am PT (1pm EDT)! This workshop is hosted by Ashville Rhythm.

 Our 2020 End of the Year Fundraiser was a Success!

From November 18 through December 12, 2020, we hosted a series of twice weekly IG lives on Wednesdays and Sundays. All are up on Instagram, where you can enjoy the interviews and performances that give an inside look into our company.

We have raised $9450 so far!
 

We celebrated this most transformative year on December 12, 2020 with an amazing showing of works created by the company dancers and incredible special guests. It was a successful event, we saw beautiful dance, experienced live music, had lively interviews, and heard a wonderful story.  If you missed it, you can view our fundraiser from your favorite platform with the buttons below. Why You Should Give:
When COVID-19 came, Viver Brasil took a very deep breath and began reimagining how we could quickly pivot to an online presence with our programs. With the generosity of our funders who encouraged us to rethink our projects, we created a diverse number of programs online, which allowed our artists in Los Angeles and Salvador, Bahia an opportunity to continue to work and learn how to manage the world of Zoom, Instagram and more! 
 
With your support and enthusiastic attendance we did it!   We also trained our dancers and musicians on zoom, worked with middle school youth, crafted a virtual presence with the new FordLA and opened our doors to the new world of virtual programming. We are so grateful that you joined us throughout these extraordinary nine months.

Even with all of our efforts, COVID 19 brought a 65% loss of income. And now, we are asking you to continue your support so that we may thrive in 2021!
Please consider a generous donation which will assist us in keeping our doors open. We thank you in advance so that we can meet our fundraising goal of $15,000 before December 31st!
