This week's #VoiceMoneyTimeOrTalent entry is Odara Solutions.
Odara Solutions, in the words of their founder Zakiya Carr Johnson, was created to "invest in the untapped talent of historically marginalized communities and increase their representation and economic participation," which led to the creation of Black Women Disrupt in support of Black women entrepreneurs and innovators. They recently started the Alafiá Mundo Partnership to encourage intergenerational and transnational dialogues grounded in an appreciation of African and indigenous culture in Brazil. All proceeds made by the Alafiá Mundo Partnership will support Samba artists facing extreme economic challenges during the COVID pandemic. Odara Solutions weekly events feature storytelling, song/dance, and cultural exchanges in collaboration with some of the most iconic Samba creators in the world! We would love for you to use your #money and #time to attend these events on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. See the link below to register. Also, consider using your #money to donate and #voice to share about this amazing organization!
